Sweet Flag is a super brain stimulant. Very useful in massage for treating cramp as well, I have been using it with Wild Marjoram and Lime, blended in Sweet Almond with great results recently. A few drops added to an oil burner may help anyone suffering with a headache as well as relieving nervous tension.

Rich yellow in colour, it smells sweet, fresh and woody, very pleaseant. It is steam distilled from the rhizomes, with it being Indian material nothing goes to waste so the leaves are also distilled.

Sweet Flag Essential Oil has an impressive and slightly exclusive natural chemistry and contains Acorenone, alpha calacorene, alpha aselinene, beta gurjunene, beta asarone (upto 70%), calamendiol, calamusenone, camphone, iso shyobunine and shyobunone.
