With Neglecta the GC states it contains a-pinene at 55.61% of the oil. Now this is relevant because when you really inhale this and process the smell you do indeed get a fresh and slightly pine like odour, maybe faint but it is still present, recognisable and helps me distinguish from other species with ease. Thankfully it still has a masculine sticky sweetness about it which also comes through and slowly takes charge and goes on to dominate the aroma. This is sincerely another must have oil for the serious Frankincense connoisseurs.

As mentioned in various other write ups, Frankincense can be considered a useful oil for people with asthma. I have asthma too, so this is a big area of interest and in the winter months, the extreme cold can get on my chest and I do sometimes feel a little wheezy and short of breath if am outside for too long. Also I do not take the advised puffs of my asthma medication, why, because it gives me headaches, so I drip feed myself the medication, taking usually a tenth of what is advised per week and maintain my almost daily ritual of a good 20 minutes with my oils, hot bowl of water and towel over head. With gentle exercises specifically to encourage easy breathing I am 99.9% fine each year.
If you are feeling stressed out, lots of worry on the mind, constantly trying to solve problems and finding it a little tough going then I would humbly advise you sit with your bottle of Frankincense, and inhale directly from the bottle for 3-5 minutes, slowly breathing in as far as is comfortable and then slowly exhaling. In turn this will calm you down, relax your mind and help you focus and find an inner peace.
