Chilli Seed Essential Oil contains Capsaicin, which in trials has shown signs of reducing inflammation and possessing pain relief qualities. In massage this could be an excellent alternative for therapists using Wintergreen or Sweet Birch to treat Arthritis (both contain Methal Salycitate). The synergistic effects of Methal Slycitate combined with Capsaicin may provide pain relief for a longer period.
