The colour is very pale yellow and the smell is sweet and herbal with a spicy undertone running throughout, the smell alone helps anyone in need of mental clarity. Therapeutically it is said to be useful for treating nervous tension and is a superb detoxifier, this oil encourages the elimination of waste such as sodium from muscle tissue and helps where fluid is being retained. If you are using it for this purpose I would encourage blending it with Juniperberry and High Altitude Lavender before diluting the blended oils in Peach Kernel or Rosehip Carrier oils for maximum benefit.
