I have also experimented with this for treating coughs and colds with stunning results, just by simply adding a few drops to an oil burner it helps those that are suffering from chronic coughing as well as helping people with colds and ‘stuffy noses’ breathe much easier.

As an asthmatic I have to say just burning this oil on my oil burner was a tremendous discovery as it seems to really help keep my asthma from getting out of control.

This oil is produced by solvent extraction of the dried roots, it is a thick black sludgy oil and the smell is rather subtle but it does intensify so do start with just a few drops at first in massage or in an oil burner.
