This absolute is pourable although I’d still advise removing the dropper cap from the bottle as it is slightly sticky in texture but as always with gentle application of heat this would become very ‘runny’ and extremely easy to work with.

Whilst I personally prefer the aroma of this absolute to the steam distilled essential oil we offer if you want to use Laurel for therapeutic purposes I would advise you stay with the essential oil as its far more cost effective and not overly different in its natural chemical composition, I see this absolute as something which is tailored more to the natural perfumer. Blends like a dream with citrus oils such as Cedrat, Green Mandarin and Organic Lemon and wood oils such as Sandalwood and Cedarwood Atlas or Himalayan.
