This is a very thick material and very different to smelling the flower. The smell is very complex and I would describe it as a little bit like sweet hay crossed with tuberose with a tobacco tint running throughout. Very powerful and a heady scent that is unusual and really pleasing on the senses.

Origin: Italy
Genet Absolute is a very rare oil when you take into consideration that the big perfume houses purchase in excess of 50% of the yearly output which I think is normally in the range of 100 - 150 kilos. Clearly I am feeling rather proud to have obtained some genuine 100% genet absolute!
The main producers are France and Italy and the one I offer is Italian material. Genet is also known as Broom Absolute. The oil is produced by solvent extraction of the fragrant flowers.
